Two Positions for PhD Students ‘Computational Structure-Based Design and Cheminformatics’ in Hamburg
The Research Group of Computational Molecular Design (Prof. Matthias Rarey) has two open positions for Ph.D. students interested in developing computational methods for early-phase drug discovery. If you have a degree in bioinformatics, computational chemistry, or a related field at the intersection of computer science and life sciences, and are interested in starting your career in the exciting field of drug discovery, please get in touch. We are looking for two talented Ph.D. students with a strong background in computer science (algorithmics, machine learning, and advanced programming) and the natural sciences (preferably structural biology, organic chemistry, and physical chemistry). Our research group has a high international reputation and contacts with dozens of pharmaceutical companies around the world. We also have a highly professionalized software development infrastructure, including group-dedicated system administration and scientific software engineering.
