Our client is a biopharmaceutical company and leader in biomedical research based in South Germany.

To strengthen the client’s team, we are currently looking for a

 

Bioinformatician – Analyst (f/m/d) for Clinical Data

 

Role & Responsibilities

  • You will optimize workflows and ensure that reports and documentation are processed by analyzing clinical data
  • In order to understand the effects of the client’s products, you will process and analyze various clinical data from different trials
  • You will interact as an interface to clinical laboratory and research departments, communication and coordination included
  • In order to ensure a good information flow, you will prepare and support data handling within clinical trials between the stakeholders
  • You will present results, improvements and concepts to stakeholders
  • Supporting the clinical team leveraging their analyses (e.g. ELISA, RNA-Seq, ICS) will also be part of your role

 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • You have a PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics or similar qualification, and gained some postdoctoral or industrial experience, preferably in the field of drug development
  • You have experience with Machine Learning, clustering/classification, multivariate analysis and Bayesian statistics
  • Biostatistics and Data Processing are a strong part of your background, as well as knowledge of at least one programming language (Julia, R, Python)
  • By using statistical software you are able to analyze data according to strict timelines
  • Having good knowledge of regulations like GCP (Good Clinical Practice) is an advantage
  • An excellent team spirit as well as good communication and presentation skills characterize you
  • Fluent English language skills are mandatory, German is a plus
